I have tried to make a reel that appeals to many people while still holding to the traditional look of an original Edward vom Hofe reel. It is of my opinion that if the Vom Hofes had the materials and the technology we have today, they would have used it on their reels, while still staying true to their design and style. I have chosen both traditional and state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing to build a reel for the next 100 years.

Size 3/0: A Restigouche style (vom Hofe #423) with3 5/8" diameter spool plate for Salmon, Steelhead and Salt Water. Available in Right or Left hand wind.

Size #1: Perfection Style (vom Hofe #360) with 3" diameter spool plate for large Trout. Available in Right or Left hand wind.

I have plans for several different models in the works, so the offering here may change. If you must have a specific size or design, and you are willing to wait, I can extrapolate from my collection of original Vom Hofe reels or copy one you provide.
